Dear Diary, 007

Dear Diary,
I keep “enhancing” our event template. I mean really, WHY is EVERYTHING in all caps and bold in this thing? I didn’t design it. It was made years ago.
I’m also limiting the already restrictive color palette even more—one color plus shades of gray. And I’ve put so many magenta recommendation comments and reasonings on the slides, that you would think that pink is now a corporate color.
I just got a marked up first draft presentation that I sent to a client for this event. She made lots of edits directly to the slides.  At least she’s really nice to work with.
I just need to remember to defend all design choices, diary. Otherwise, the client can’t see it from my perspective.

We’re very excited to learn from you!  If you work in any aspect of the presentation industry, have a pro tip or trick, lesson learned, or favorite resource to share, and would like to contribute to the Presentation Guild blog, please consider submitting an article for consideration on our blog post submission page.
