Dear Diary,
I am giving myself a new title: Content Strategist, User Experience and Visual Designer of Interactive Communications. I’m tired of the looks I get when I tell people I am a presentation designer, so I’m elevating the title to something that other designers respect more. Then, when they ask me what kind of things I work on, I’ll tell them that I make engaging, beautiful presentations that instantly connect the audience to the speaker in deep meaningful understanding. I knew that taking on this new role where I can build things from the ground up was going to involve a long LONG journey, but I had forgotten what things were actually like on the ground level. Time to elevate things on a very slow moving elevator to the 30,000th floor.
